World of WarCraft is the world’s best MMORPG game and from the looks of it the game is refusing to fade away and this thanks to regular updates.
Blizzard has launched World of WarCraft on November 23, 2004. At that time the world celebrated 10 years since the launch of the first Warcraft game and there was a lot of interest from gamers. The game is no longer in its prime but in the first 5-6 years since the release fans were anxiously awaiting every new DLC. First came The Burning Crusade in 2007, followed by Wrath of the Lich King in 2008 and Cataclysm in 2010. Mists of Pandaria introduced a Panda Bear to the story back in 2012. The fifth expansion pack was Warlords of Draenor in 2014. The sixth, simply called Legion, was released back in August 30, 2016.
World of WarCraft Battle for Azeroth was released in November 2, 2017 during the Blizzcon conference. At that time the precise release date of the new expansion pack was unknown and the only thing we could do was to guess that it will arrive in 2018.
Right now Blizzard has started to accept pre-orders for Battle of Azeroth. The release of the final version of the title will take place this summer but the precise moment varies based on the feedback that comes from players during the beta version. Price wise there will be two versions. We will have to pay $50 for the Standard Edition while the Digital Deluxe Edition will come with a price tag of $70.
