After Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was already delayed, being now scheduled for release over the course of next year, now the second game based on the Vampire: The Masquerade license – Coteries of New York – is also going to be delayed. Happily, we’re talking about a very short delay, of just one week: initially expected to make its arrival on December 4th, Vampire: Masquerade – Coteries of New York will arrive on the market on December 11, 2019.
Draw Distance studio motivated this delay by saying that they wanted to pay a little bit more attention to the finishing touches of the game before launching as they want to provide gamers with the promised Vampire: The Masquerade experience.
As a visual novel, Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York will present the conflict between two vampire factions: the Camarilla traditionalists and the Anarch rebels, who are opposed the privileged status of the rules of the rival clan. The battle between the two clans will take place in New York, and the developers are promising a story based single player experience with a unique atmosphere.
The gamer can choose between multiple playable characters from the vampire clans, each with its very own special abilities ( discipline ), believes, flaw and dialogue. The people over at Draw Distance studio also promise are high level of re-playability for Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York, and the choices the gamer make during the game can drastically influence the end of the story.
