Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs made a pretty unpleasant announcement about the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 game. The game that was initially scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of next year will be delayed and the release will happen sometime in the year 2020.

The developers of the game made this decision because the development and the finishing touches require more time and the people over at Hardsuit Labs wanted to avoid repeating the situation of the first Vampire: THe Masquerade – Bloodlines game which was released in a pretty bad condition and had many bugs. To make fans a bit happy, the developer published three new screenshots of the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 game which you can view below.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is being developed by Hardsuit Labs an Brian Mitsoda, the man in charge of the first Bloodlines game has returned for highly anticipated sequel.

The character you get to play, a man who recently became a vampire, is the catalyst of a war between the vampire clans that rule the city of Seattle, reinvented as part of the World of Darkness universe. Just like in the previous game of the series, the main character of the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 video game can join one of the clans involved in the conflict, can follow its pray on the streets of Seattle, can manipulate politicians and can use his special skills in order to keep the balance between the vampires and humans.

After the game gets out, which will happen sometime in the first half of next year, Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive promise to add new  vampire clans, which will be available for free to all who buy the Vampire: The Masquarade – Bloodline 2 game.

When Vampire: The Masquarade – Bloodline 2 gets released, the game will be compatible with PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
