Because of some financial results beyond expectations, Ubisoft announced that the company will implement the Assassin’s Creed Origins strategy for future g ames also. So, both Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 will need additional development time and the release dates of both games have been delayed.

Far Cry 5, initially expected on February 27, 2018 will be delayed by one month, the release date being rescheduled for March 27, 2018. In Far Cry 5 the player will play as new Hope County, Montana deputy sheriff in an attempt to free the county of the threat posted by a group of religious fanatics called Project at Eden’s Gate, a group that has been terrorizing the locals for many years.

The Crew 2, initially scheduled for March 16, 2018, will only be released in the first half of the 2018 – 2019 fiscal year ( April of 2018 at best ).

The Crew 2 will keep the open world environment that reproduces the entire map of the United States of America, and besides cars you can also drive motorcycles, motorboats and airplanes.

Ubisoft needs additional development time for a third title ( we don’t know which yet ). The initially release date was the 2018 – 2019 fiscal year and right now we know the title will be released in the 2019 – 2020 fiscal year.
