SEGA and Creative Assembly studio have just released a not so great piece of news about Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia video game: after a testing sessions along with gaming media, despite the positive feedback received, the developers decided to delay the launch of the game by a few weeks.
So, initially scheduled to be released in April, Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia has been delayed until May 3, 2018.
This additional time will allow Creative Assembly not just to finish the development of the Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia but also to make some improvements regarding key elements of the game such as user interface and artificial intelligence routines.
The story of Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia will begin in the year 878, after the Vikings invaded the British island. With many regions under the control of the Vikings, Alfred the Great of Wessex ( the hero in the trailer below ) along with other Kings of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales have their own aspirations and they don’t just want to free the country from under the Vikings as they also have their own agendas.
The Creative Assembly studio promises the most detailed campaign map ever implemented in a Total War game, the focus now being to accurately reproduce some detail rich regions.
Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia will be released on May 3, 2018 and the game will only be available for PC through Steam.
