The British Parliament will decide on Monday if the Government should cancel Donald Trump’s invitation to visit the United Kingdom.

A petition addressed to the Parliament asking for the invitation to be canceled has gathered more than 1,8 million signatures on Sunday, surpassing the 100,000 signatures required to solicit a Parliament debate.

“Donald Trump should not be invited for an official state visit, to avoid an offending situation for Queen Elizabeth” the petition states,  which also mentions that Donald Trump is vulgar and misogynistic.

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, agrees with the petition and said, on Sunday, that Donald Trump should not be received for an official state visit in the United Kingdom because of the controversial anti-immigration ban and his decision to block refugees from entering the United States of America.

Official state visits in the United Kingdom are usually hosted by the Queen, they often last for a few days and they include many great activities such as a walk to the Buckingham Palace in a carriage accompanied by Royal Guard, gun salutes and an official banquet at the Palace where the visit is officially celebrated.

The U.K. Prime Minister, Theresa May, has caused controversies for extending the invitation to Donald Trump but also for doing it so fast: Theresa May invited Donald Trump to the United Kingdom just a few days after he was sworn in as President of the United States of America.
