Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the Game of Thrones series, explained why she accepted to get engaged at the age of 21, which many think it’s a much too young age for such a commitment.
When Sophie Turner announced her engagement to Joe Jonas in October of 2017 she was only 21 years old while Joe Jonas was 28. “I said yes” Sophie wrote on social media on a post with a photo of the ring.
Sophie Turner wasn’t expecting to get engaged too soon and the marriage proposal took her by surprise. ” I was preparing to be along for the rest of my life. I think that when you find the right person, you know” Sophie Turner told Rolling Stone. Sophie Turner said that although she’s only 23 years old she feels very mature. ” I feel my soul is more mature than my age. I feel I lived enough to know this” she added.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are planning to get married this summer and according to Joe, it will be “very fun”. Sophie and Joe met in 2017 and right now they are living together in a New York apartment and they have two dogs. Sophie Turner said in the past during an interview that “it’s wonderful to be engaged” but she doesn’t think this is an incredible accomplishment, which is not the same way she looks at her career.
“There is this misconception that being married is the most wonderful thing that can happen to you. But I always thought that my career is something I work for and when I accomplished something there is that feeling that his is the most wonderful thing I am going to live in my life” Sophie Turner said.
