According to Deadline, the new Dune movie, produced by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, has started shooting under the supervision of director Denis Villeneuve. With this opportunity, the producers also launched the official plot of the new Dune movie.
“A mythical and exciting journey, Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides, a gifted young man with a special destiny beyond his comprehension, who has to travel to one of the most dangerous planets in order to secure the future of his family and the people he leads. The premiere of the new Dune movie is set for November 20, 2020.
The original Dune movie was premiered in 1984 but failed to be successful. The movie had a budget of $40 million but only managed to gross approximately $30 million world wide.
