Samsung has revealed the company’s new ultra-portable laptops that will be presented at CES 2018, in the first week of next year.
Even if the notebooks market still has problems regarding sales, it seems that many tech companies are optimistic regarding how things stand next year. In any other conditions, it would be weird of them to start promoting their products now.
Samsung already has a pretty good portfolio when it comes to portable systems and with the new models Samsung is trying to attract new clients. Borrowing an idea introduced a few years ago by the Galaxy Note series, Samsung has announced the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen. The system, which you can see in the photo above, comes with a touchscreen and a stylus. Most likely the stylus will be surprisingly useful considering how much effort Microsoft put in this type of interactions in Windows 10 recent versions.
Samsung has announced two new systems, the Notebook 9 Pen and the Notebook 9. The overall design of both models are similar. The difference is the fact that the screen of the model equipped with a stylus can be rotated at 360 degrees so you can also use it a tablet. The advantage of the standard Notebook 9 version is that it can be purchased with a 13.3 inch or with a 15 inch display, while the Pen version is limited at the 13 inch display.
If you would like to find out more about the hardware of these two systems you should know that they will come with Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 processors, depending on how much you’re willing to spend. You can also get up to 16 GB of RAM memory and 512 GB of SSD storage. You can buy or sell your old RAM at http://www.buysellram.com/what-we-buy/sell-used-memory/. More details regarding the price and availability of these two new notebooks from Samsung will be made available next year, in January, at the CES 2018 event.
