The first middle entry smartphones from Google – Pixel 3a – will soon be here. Google has been working on the Pixel 3a smartphones for quite some time now but the official announcement from Google has not happened yet, although the phone made it in the hands of some bloggers from Russia and we now see that even the official Pixel website is now listing the phone.
For a short while, the Google website included references to the Pixel 3a series of phones, series about which we have received unofficial information before even from the Android source files. Despite the fact that the site didn’t had an active page to redirect clicks, we have an official confirmation that the phones are real and they will be named Pixel 3a.
Basically, the rumors about the middle range phones from Google are almost confirmed. Rumors talk about two Pixel 3a smartphones, the Pixel 3a “Bonito” with a smaller screen and 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and Pixel 3a “Sargo” with a bigger screen and 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution. The two Pixel 3a smartphones will be delivered with Snapdragon 600 and Snapdragon 700 chipsets from Qualcomm and with 4 GB of RAM memory.
The photo cameras will be the most attractive things about these phones because Google wants to provide a similar performance to Google Pixel 3, at a lower price. Pixel 3a should come with the same camera hardware. The Pixel Visual Core software will also be integrated in the upcoming Pixel 3a smartphones.
