As expected, CD Projekt RED used the latest “Night City Live” episode to reveal the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, which is scheduled for release sometime next year.
Unlike the original Cyberpunk 2077 game, the Phantom Liberty expansion will only be available for modern platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Google Stadia.
On the other hand, Keavu Reeves will also return as Johnny Silverhand in this expansion pack.
In addition, Cyberpunk 2077 has just received the Edgerunners update (v1.6), inspired by the series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which will be released on Netflix starting September 13, 2022.
Among numerous bug fixes, support for mods on PC and other news, the new update adds additional content to the game, such as new quests, new weapons, cross-progression to be able to import game saves from one platform to another, and a new performance mode on Xbox Series S consoles.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available in versions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. The Edgerunners update (v1.6) is now available on all platforms. The animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be available to watch on Netflix starting September 13, 2022.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is expected to be available in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Google Stadia.
