game of thrones season 8

We have received a new Game of Thrones teaser before the official premiere of the first episode of the new season and the new teaser appears to suggest our biggest fear regarding the ending of the Game of Thrones series.

There are less than two weeks before the release of the final Game of Thrones season, and HBO is teasing us almost every week with footage of what we might be able to see over the course of season 8.

So far HBO has released more teasers and trailers than for previous seasons, but they are mostly for nothing because you can’t understand much by watching them. They are just intriguing and make you wonder but, after all, that’s what a teaser is suppose to do.

The new Game of Thrones teaser, which you can see below, was published on YouTube on April 2, 2019. Probably HBO wanted to avoid releasing the teaser on April 1 so that fans won’t think it’s a prank. But we rather see a prank than see a teaser that suggests a less than optimistic scenario.

In the Game of Thrones season 8 teaser above we can see Winterfell with the Stark family banner, then we see a sad winter setting.

We don’t see any characters in the teaser, not even a corpse, just items that are familiar: Jon Snow’s sword, Daenerys’ chains, Jamie’s hand, Arya’s sword, Bran’s chair, etc.

All these items suggest that all the characters die. However, we don’t see any white walkers or the army of the dead, and we’re not seeing the Night King sitting on the Iron Throne.

The Game of Thrones ending is still very much a mystery, but one thing is for sure: many of our beloved characters will die. It remains to be seen who’s gonna die or who’s gonna end up sitting on the Iron Throne ( if any ).

The teaser is uncomfortable because it is named Aftermath – so it makes us wonder if this is the end.

The official Game of Thrones trailer shows the most important characters that are getting ready to fight the Night King and the army of the dead. Daenerys accompanies Jon Snow to Winterfell along with her great army and her two dragons. Winter is already here and, with it, the long night.
