More than 50 dead bodies were exhumed from a mass grave discovered in November in the state of Jalisco, western Mexico, local authorities announced yesterday.
The mass grave was discovered on November 22 at a ranch in the state of Tlajomulco, nearby Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco, a state full of organized crime violence.
So far the authorities have identified the bodies of 13 people ( 12 men and a woman ) who’s disappearance was reported to the authorities. The investigation continues in order to establish the identity and cause of death of the other victims.
Between January 1 and November 30, 2019, Jalisco authorities have investigated 2.465 murders in the state where the powerful Jalisco Nueva Generation drug cartel operates.
