A meteorite has allegedly exploded above Cuba on Friday evening and multiple rocks have – apparently – crashed on the ground, nearby the city of Vinales, western Cuba.
The event was also noticed by many people in Florida, United States, hundreds of miles away, and it was also captured by satellite.
The locals of Vinales say they heard a “huge explosion” and the rocks that fell from the sky shattered the windows or some homes. Nobody was as far as we know right now.
Many people posted photos on social networks with the rocks that fell from the sky.

#BREAKING: Just got this video from a friend in #PinardelRio who says they think the trail in the sky was left by a #meteorite, which shattered windows and made extremely loud sounds. Sounded like two #explosions. #cuba @WPLGLocal10 pic.twitter.com/AMmb9ZE6vB
