Jeff Bezos

The boss of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, claims he was blackmailed by tabloid National Enquirer with photos the tabloid has already sent to TV anchor Lauren Sanchez. Allegedly, Jeff Bezos has been having a relationship with Lauren Sanchez before separating from his wife.

Jeff Bezos claims National Enquirer obtained “intimate photos” including one photo of him wearing boxers and that the tabloid has blackmailed him threatening that the photos will be published.

Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world, says he was the target of blackmail from American Media, Inc, the company that owns National Enquirer, who’s boss is David Pecker, a friend of U.S. President Donald Trump.

After U.S. tabloid National Enquirer published details about his affair, Jeff Bezos hired a private investigations company to find out how the media got a hold of private messages he sent to Lauren Sanchez.

The investigators discovered that the topic of his extramarital affair was politically motivated and it has something to do with the fact that Jeff Bezos also owns The Washington Post, one of the biggest news outlets in the world that often publishes materials against Donald Trump.

On his personal blog, Jeff Bezos published a post called “No thank you, Mr. Pecker” and talked about the blackmail from American Media, Inc, and also published an email he received from the company.

Jeff Bezos also says that American Media, inc ( AMI ) Deputy General Counsel offered him a deal: National Enquirer will not publish the photos if him and his investigators publish a statement saying that they do not own information according to which the subject has been “politically motivated”.

In the post, Jeff Bezos says he decided to publish these emails rather than surrendering to extortion and blackmail.
