mortal kombat 11

The newest livestream from NetherRealm Studios confirmed the return of three classic fighters of the Mortal Kombat fighters, and they will return as playable characters. We are talking about Liu Kang ( the initial champion of the Mortal Kombat contest ), Kung Lao and Jackson “Jax” Briggs ( the latter were also part of Mortal Kombat II ).

The below recording of the NetherRealm livestream contains multiple gameplay scenes with all three characters, their special moves, as well as some of their fatalities.

The story of Mortal Kombat 11 will be based on time manipulation focused on Kronika, the first female boss in the history of the Mortal Kombat franchise, a God capable of controlling time. The developers of the game brag with a new graphics engine and the Story mode, so appreciated in the previous games, is set to return in Mortal Kombat 11, while players will be able to create their very own character variations by personalizing their preferred fighters.

We’re getting the classic Mortal Kombat fighters such as Scorpion, Raiden, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Jax, Sub-Zero, Skarlet, Kano, Jade, Baraka, Kabal but also new fighters such as Geras, allied of Kronika, who is also capable of manipulating time.

The wait of the Mortal Kombat fans is almost over because Mortal Kombat 11 is set to arrive on April 23, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and – of course – for PC. The beta testing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is in full swing right now.
