The iPhone X is now being labeled as weaker than the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, despite previous tests that claimed the contrary.
Journalists from the tech industry are now labeling the iPhone X as being weaker than the iPhone 8. The journalists are from Consumer Reports and they reached a conclusion that is surprising even for hardcore Apple fans. According to Consumer Reports tests, you should not waste your money on the iPhone X and you might want to swift your focus to the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus.
The iPhone X is very fragile compared to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus according to an endurance test. After the test the iPhone X came out with a completely shattered display while the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus had just a few screen flaws.
The iPhone X did better than the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in scratching and water tests but this was not enough for Consumer Reports to recommend it instead of the iPhone 8 models. Consumer Reports says that without the endurance test the iPhone X would have been recommended.
The iPhone X also failed to provide a decent autonomy compared to the Galaxy S8 . The iPhone X provided enough juice for 19.5 hours while the Samsung Galaxy 8 was on for 26 hours. The iPhone X got very good results in camera tests but we think even Apple is now surprised of the Consumer Reports recommendation.
