The technical specifications of the iPhone 8 were revealed yesterday by a U.S. publication, and some of them were reveled for the first time for everybody to know. According to the publication, the iPhone 8 will come with a 5.8 inch OLED display, a screen that will not be curved because of the difficulty in creating such a component.
Those of you who like the Home button of the iPhone might be a bit upset because the iPhone 8 will not come with one, and the 5.8 inches display will cover the entire front panel ( this is something we kind of knew for a long time now ).
The iPhone 8 will have the same size as the 4.7 inches iPhone 7 but the 5.8 inch display will come with a bigger 2:1 aspect ratio.
Even if the iPhone 8 will come without a curved OLED screen because of production issues and because it is very fragile, the price of the iPhone 8 will be close to $1000. ( just like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone ) At this time we don’t know if the 64 GB model will cost as much, but it’s clear that the iPhone 8 version with 256 GB of storage will be available at a price higher than $1000.
In additional to the iPhone 8, which will represent 40% of Apple’s production, the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus will also arrive this year at competitive prices. The iPhone 7S won’t bring many new things compared to the iPhone 7 and will be available in the same versions with 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches displays and with storage space of up to 256 GB.
In the photo below you can see the tech specs of the iPhone. These tech specs are very interesting and judging by them the $1000 will be a pretty wise investment. iPhone 8 will be officially launched in the fall of this year, and the phone will come with the new iOS 11 version of the operating system.
You going to buy the new iPhone 8 as soon as it arrives or you’re going to wait for the phone to become cheaper ?
