The movie about Enzo Ferrari, the man the brought the Ferrari cars to the world, will starting shooting next year.
In development ever since 2015, the movie about Enzo Ferrari has a new poster head. The first choice for the leading role, actor Christian Bale, dropped out because he is unable to reach the desired weight until shooting starts. Christian Bale was replaced by another top actor, Hugh Jackman, and he will be ready by the time shooting starts in the second half of 2018.
The movie will be based of the “Enzo Ferrari: The Man, The Cars, The Races” novel published by Brock Yates in 1991 and Michael Mann has been thinking about making the movie for the last 17 years.
The story will take place in 1957, the year when a terrible accident serious affected the Ferrari team. It was also a difficult time in the personal life of Enzo Ferrari because of the recent death of his son.
The wife of Enzo Ferrari, Laura Dominica Garello, will be played by Noomi Rapace.
