A six years old managed to earn more than $11 million in 2017 thanks to his YouTube channel where he uploads videos in which he tests different toys.
According to a list of the best paid YouTube celebrities in 2017 published by Forbes, Ryan who owns the Ryan ToysReview channel earns $11 million annually by testing toys and foods.
Ryan, the six years old, has more than 10 million subscribers and his videos have managed to raise more than 16 billion views.
“He likes cars, trains, Thomas and friends, Lego, superheroes, Disney toys, funny family adventures and more. Ryan also likes to experiment” we can read on the description of his YouTube channel.
Ryan’s family launched the YouTube channel back in 2015 and it became viral after only four months thanks to a video in which we can see Ryan open a package of Cars toys from Disney. The video has more than 800 million views. Another video that was uploaded on YouTube in April of 2016 managed to get more than 1 billion views.
According to The Verge, Ryan’s family is prepared to close the YouTube channel if Ryan wants this. The boy’s family has opened another channel that focuses on the daily adventures of Ryan and his twin sisters, Emma and Kate.
The Forbes top of the richest YouTube celebrities, where Ryan comes in 8th, is headed by gamer Daniel Middleton, also known as DanTDM. With more than 11 billion YouTube views, DanTDM managed to earn $16.5 million in 2017.
Overall, the top 10 richest YouTube celebrities earned $127 million between June 1, 2016 and June 1, 2017. The numbers were obtained based on information available on YouTube, Social Blade and Captiv8, as well as on data provided by agencies, managers, producers and lawyers.
