Via a tweet from the official Call of Duty Twitter account we have learned that the new Modern Warfare 2 will arrive this fall, specifically on October 28, 2022. Also, we got to see a sneak peak of some of the characters and something that appears to be the cover poster of the MW2 game.
Activision Blizzard officially announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 earlier this year. The annual franchise will be handled by Infinity Ward this year and will be a sequel to the 2019 reboot. Early details say that Modern Warfare 2 will center around U.S. special forces fighting the Colombian drug cartel.

Following the purchase of Activision by Microsoft, it appears that Modern Warfare 2 will be the last annual Call of Duty game and it appears that the Call of Duty game that was supposed to arrive in 2023 will make its debut only in 2024.
