A British prosecutor said earlier today that singer George Michael died of natural causes. The autopsy shows that George Michael died because of dilated cardiomyopathy, myocarditis and increased liver, according to prosecutor Darren Slater of Oxfordshire.
“The investigation into the death of George Michael ended and we received the final report from the medical examiner. It confirms that George Michael died of natural causes because of a dilated cardiomyopathy, myocarditis and increased liver.” the prosecutor said. He also said that the authorities won’t release any other information about this case.
Back in December, Andros Georgiou ( George Michael’s best friend ) said in an interview that he suspects George Michael died because of an accidental overdose. Andros said that George started to use powerful drugs again in the last few months but he’s convinced that George Michael didn’t killed himself.
Singer George Michael passed away on December 25, 2016, at the age of 53 in his home in Gooring-On-Thames, Oxfordshire.
