At E3 2017, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced Dragon Ball Fighterz, the firs trailer of the being presented at the Microsoft stand. Dragon Ball FighterZ is the result of combining 2D fighting games with the Dragon Ball universe, one of the most popular anime franchises in the world.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is developed by Arc System Works, one of the most popular studios working on classic 2D fighting games, responsible for the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue franchises. The Dragon Ball spirit will be kept, as FighterZ will use 3D characters but the gameplay will be limited to 2D.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will give everybody the chance of becoming their favorite character. With a 3 vs. 3 mechanism, both veterans and novices can enjoy an epic experience. Because we’re talking about teams of three characters, the game encourages fans to learn more fighting styles to be able to win every battle.
Gamers who are anxious to try Dragon Ball FighterZ will have to wait until the end of this summer when the first closed beta sessions will take place on the Xbox One and on PlayStation 4. More details about the beta session will become available very soon.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be available at the beginning of 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC ( through Steam ).
