Donald Trump is asking for $20 million in damages from Stormy Daniels as he accuses her of breaching the non disclosure agreement she signed in 2016.
Donald Trump’s lawyers claim that actress Stormy Daniels has breached the non disclosure agreement at least 20 times after she repeatedly said that she had an affair with Donald Trump in 2016.
Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who represents the interests of Stormy Daniels – who’s real name is Stephanie Clifford – filed a lawsuit earlier this month asking the court to void the non disclosure agreement. The lawyer claims that the demands made by Donald Trump are unprecedented and this is just another harassment tactic against his client.
Besides damages, Donald Trump’s lawyers also asked to move the lawsuit from the state court into federal court in order to keep the lawsuit behind closed doors, far from the public’s eye and from the media.
The Donald Trump legal team in this case also includes lawyer Charles Harder, who became famous after getting Hulk Hogan off in a sexual abuse case and he also represented Melania Trump in her lawsuit against the Daily Mail.

Details about the restraining order appeared in the media one day after Stormy Daniels filed suit against Donald Trump claiming that the non disclosure agreement is void. The suit was filed in Los Angeles. The NDA has been signed in October of 2016, shortly before the Presidential Elections won by Donald Trump. Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, said that he paid $130,000 to Stormy Daniels from his own pocket in order to keep silent but the funds never arrived in Stormy Daniels’ bank account, which – by all accounts – made Stormy Daniels very upset.
