Ubisoft has confirmed the rumors and the publisher has officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will arrive in the spring of this year.
Developed by Ubisoft Sofia, Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will include, besides the initial game, all additional content that was released: two bonus missions ( The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable ), weapons packs, customization elements, Master Templar and Explorer costumes as well as the Bayek costume from Assassin’s Creed Origins.
On the technical side, Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered promises improved visual effects, textures and gaming environments. The editoin will run at 4K resolution on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro and at 1080p resolution on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The story of the game is placed in the middle of the 18th century during the Seven Years War. The story focuses on Shay Patrick Cormac, an assassin turned Templar, who embarks on his own crusade against the Brotherhood.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will be launched on March 20, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The original edition was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
