Private Division publisher ( a division of Take Two Interactive ) and Panache Digital Games studio announced that the Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is now also available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming consoles.
From a third person perspective, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey focuses on exploration and survival being developed by independent studio Panache Digital Games, co-founded in 2014 by Patrice Desilets, the creative mind behhind the first Assassin’s Creed titles. The game was released earlier this year for PC.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey presents the beginning of the human history, giving the player the difficult task of ensuring the survival of the tribe during the evolution process that takes places over the span of million of years. The player will have to face predators while exploring locations. In the jungle, for example, you can use the trees to avoid dangers. Exploring the environment you’ll get a better understanding of how to use it for your gain. With enough practice, a simple stick can be transformed into a primitive weapon so you can fight predators while plans hold cures for many diseases.
The analysis of the environment, interaction with many objects and creators, communication with the members of the tribe but also physical exercises help build a neural system that powers the roleplaying component of the game. Based on your actions, players will get different skills: some will benefit from more evolved locomotive systems while others will be stronger and harder to wound.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
