Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, who won the Oscar award for “best actress in a supporting role” for her role in “The Danish Girl” will replace Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft.

Alicia Vikander, 28 years old, will star as Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider movie, replacing Angelina Jolie who starred as Lara Croft in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider ( 2000 ) and “Lara Croft: The Cradle of Life” ( 2003 ).

According to Warner Bros. and MGM, the next Tomb Raider movie will be premiered next year, on March 16, 2018.
