A title released in 2022 is a great success, but a study shows that it ranks first in the list of the most confusing and difficult video games of this year.
Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware in collaboration with the famous author George R.R. Martin, tops this ranking.
The ranking was created based on a study by Uswitch, which offers a platform for comparing service offers such as high-speed Internet, mobile telephony or loans.
The company found more than 170,000 Google searches from players who wanted to find out how to play Elden Ring, as well as tips related to the title.
“Although the game has been well received by the gaming community, it is not a title for beginners,” Uswitch said.
Elden Ring, which was released in February, received high scores and reviews from critics and has already sold more than 16.6 million copies worldwide.
In second place is Nintendo’s Metroid Dread with 54,000 Google searches. Rounding out the podium is Capcom’s Resident Evil Village with 44,760 searches.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (33,960 searches) and Far Cry 6 (31,920) follow in fourth and fifth place.
For the study, Uswitch analyzed the 150 most popular video games of the year.
